Ages 12 -16
An amazing 10 day, classic loop through Algonquin’s Western Highlands. Departing from Canoe Lake, this trip is a tour de force through all that Algonquin has to offer: big lakes, quiet creeks, winding marshes and beaver dams. Includes two days of trip prep and campcraft at the Museum.
This co-ed flatwater trip is an extended experience in backcountry camping and wilderness canoe tripping. Days are spent paddling, portaging and playing as we move campsites throughout the trip. Learn backcountry cooking, how to set up tents and tarps, and how to camp comfortably and safely. Transportation from The Canoe Museum and back is included, along with all required gear and equipment.

- Aug 14: Drop Off 9am
- Aug 23: Pick Up 4pm
- Prerequisite: ORCKA Level 1 or equivalent is required. Please refer to the prerequisite skills here or call/email the Programs Manager at camps@canoemuseum.ca, 705-748-9153 ext. 219, to discuss the participant’s canoeing experience.
